Momilani Lazo

Momilani joined ‘Iole Stewardship Center in December 2019. Prior to joining ‘Iole Stewardship Center, she served as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of Hawaiian Affairs. She has held positions in travel, sales, escrow, title insurance, law office, and government. In all aspects of her career Momi has incorporated her Hawaiian values of family and community a priority.

Momi earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hawaiian Studies, Master Degree in Public Administration, and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa; She obtained an Associates Certificate for Paralegal Studies from Kapi‘olani Community College, and maintains a Notary Public Commission from the State of Hawai‘i Attorney General’s Office.

Momi served as the Communications Officer on the Public Administration Student Organization 2019-2020, was a member of the Hawaii Paralegal Association 2004 – 2007. As a haumāna of hula, she served as the Treasurer for Ka Pā Hula Hawai‘i, under Kumu Hula John Kaha‘i Topolinski 1981 – 1992, and is currently is a haumāna of Kumu Huka Niuli‘i Heine of Nā Pualei o Liko Lehua, 2017 – Present.
